Hi everyone,
Apparently hospitals are full of people,mostly with patients having symptoms similar to H1N1.This little but potent virus is wrecking havoc in every one's life...people are panicking!everyone is demanding test and antiviral...sometimes they become angry when they don't get what they want and blame the other party...but the other party is trying their best to do whatever is necessary.... but of course there are policies and guidelines to adhere to.They can't simply undertake throat swab on everyone and can't simply prescribe Tamiflu to everybody with symptoms...it is us who has to be more vigilant of what is happening to us or our loved ones and take extra precautions.It is easy to get angry at everyone and everybody when we are faced with the current situations..but does getting upset or angry serves anybody any good??I doubt it...
Remember,whenever one door seemingly closes,another door opens...you just have to keep positive,stay aware and look to see what it is instead of getting upset when things don't unfold as you anticipated...ask the next person or clinic if one rejected you...finally they have no option left but to say yes..
Holding grudges and resentment has a negative effect on health.Forgiving someone can release the negative energy and will positively impact on how you feel and your overall health.This is especially important now days...given the current circumstances and situations.
Be thankful for your troubles for happiness is to be found along the way, not at the end of the road.At the end of the road, the journey is over and it is too late...
Today this hour,this minute is the day,the hour, the minute for each of us to sense the fact that life is good with all of its trial and troubles and perhaps more interestingly because of them.
Until my next posting,remember what Jim Rohn says...do not major in minor...live with passion and take care.

Boiled Frog Syndrome
Hi everyone,
I would like to share about a syndrome that occurs in our society.It is called The Boiled Frog Syndrome.You not only find all sorts of syndromes in medical field,but even in your daily normal ordinary life you may find many syndromes...So what is Boiled Frog Syndromes?You may ask..
When you put a frog into a boiling pot of water,what happens to it...will it jump out of the pot to save itself???NO...it does not jump out,instead it adjusts it body temperature to its environment.And as it keeps adjusting to the water which increasingly becomes hotter,the frog ultimately gets boiled.
So what is the lesson to be learned from this?If one continues to cling to old percepts in dealing with change,one is afflicted with The Boiled Frog Syndrome.
We are adjusting and reacting to the appalling level of pollution and thought we get it all right...adapting to low levels of morale,ethical sense in business,rising crimes rate and everything else...
We must stop adapting and start thinking about what we are going to do.We must not accept the status quo,we need to reexamine our value and instill the old age value system that stood us in good stead;

We must stop adapting and start thinking about what we are going to do.We must not accept the status quo,we need to reexamine our value and instill the old age value system that stood us in good stead;
- values like our parents
- a change of consciousness
- base life on high moral values
- personal transformation from within the individual
- money should not be the sole criterion in life
Until my next posting,lets re examine our value,live with passion and take care.

Today I wanna share with you what I read and learned from the book 'The Richest Man In Babylon'.
In this tough time economically,I think it is worth sharing with you what I have learnt....how to make your wallet fatter and enjoy at the same time..here goes:
Seven Cures for a lean purse;
- save 10% of your earning consistently.As soon as you get your salary,put 10% into saving first,not later.Make it a habit to pay yourself first and not your creditors.
- control the expenditures,within that remaining 90%
- make the gold multiply by investing the 10% you have saved
- guard the treasure from loss,invest only where the principle is safe,consult and seek advice from the expert,those experienced in profitable handling of investment-try ASB!
- make the dwelling of profitable investment-own your home
- insure a future income-provide in advance for the need of growing age and protections of the family.
- increase ability to earn-cultivate own powers, study and become wiser and become more skillful.
So dear friends, i wish you all the best in using these 7 cures to make you a richer and wiser person.When I said richer,it is not only in financial term but in every aspect..spiritually,emotionally,psychologically...basically every facet and aspect of your life.
Until the next posting,keep learning,live with passion and take care.

Soya Beans and Cancer
Hello everyone,
The sun is shinning brightly but visibility is rather poor due to haze.It has been hazy past few weeks and people with respiratory problems are getting sick more often.Asthamatic people getting more frequent acute attacks and sore throats are rampant.So civilised and educated reader,please stop those open burning.I know these are done with the best of intention, but it is not healthy and affecting the whole neighbourhood.
Anyway,let me clarify about some query that people often asked..Is there a realtionship between soya bean and cancer?
Soya contains phytoestrogen.Phytoestrogen is a natural plant chemical that have a weak estrogens like effects on the body,that is why it is widely used as part of anti aging supplement.There are 2 types of phytoestrogen,isoflavines and lignans.Soya contains isoflavines.
Phytoestrogen reduces hot flushes in post menopausal woman.In healthy premenopausal woman,phytoestrogen lower the natural production of estrogen,lengthen the menses cycle and therefore fewer cycles over a lifetime.Research results suggest that fewer menstrual cycles associated with lower risk of breast cancer.
However recent studies involving thousands of women did not revealed clear relationship between consumption of soya and breast cancer.In other words,soya does not increase or reduce incidence of breast cancer.
My suggestion is that,if you like soya beans,go and take them and if you do not fancy the taste,don't worry..you are not losing any benefit.
